UKJPA Speed Run

Speed Run 2 – Juicy Feast

Juicy Feast by Elena Essex

Following on from summer’s “Kitten in a Teacup” – the UKJPA’s first speed run – we have another event for all of our speed puzzlers. A speed run competition involves having as many attempts as you like at a task to try to get the fastest time. At the end of the competition, the puzzler with the fastest time wins!

Our second speed run competition starts October 31st at Midnight, running for the next two months until the clock strikes midnight to end 2024 on New Year’s Eve (UK time).

We are looking forward to seeing all those times tumble! Good Luck and Happy Running!

Getting Juicy Feast

“Juicy Feast” by Elena Essex Puzzles can be purchased directly from Elena Essex puzzles, with a £3 discount for UK and EU puzzlers using the link here.

The puzzle is also available on Amazon outside of the EU / UK.

How to Speed Run

As with the Speed Run #1, we are using a simple informal honesty system, to take the ultimate prize of kudos and glory! Also per the first Speed Run, this is a solo-only event.

The leading times and progression table will be posted weekly on the UKJPA website and Facebook Group. We are recording both UK and World tables – anyone can have a go! New for Speed Run #2, we will also be posting a table of everyone’s fastest attempts.

After completing a speed run of the puzzle, simply go to our submission form here and enter your name, nationality, when you did the run, how many attempts you’ve made (ie, is it the first, second or twenty-fifth) and your recorded time.

If your time is likely to improve the record for either the UK or World table, please send a photo of the completed puzzle and timer to james@ukjpa.org, or directly to James Nickells on Facebook Messenger. Please let us know if you prefer not to have the photo shared on Social Media.
